Our Handcrafted Scotland Cutty Sark Sailing Ship is crafted using the plank-on-frame method, with each strip of exotic wood assembled by hand.

The model is shipped in a secure wooden crate and arrives FULLY ASSEMBLED, ready for display. You'll be amazed by its remarkable realism, the result of skillful and creative master craftsmanship.

The Cutty Sark was built in Dumbarton, Scotland, in 1869, and participated in the China tea trade until 1873. Following this, she made numerous passages between England and Australia for twenty years. After 1895, she served under the Portuguese flag for twenty-five years.

Upon examining the ship, you'll discover stunning wooden details such as three wooden booms, one wooden bunker, four front and one main mast with fabric sails featuring intricate stitching, matching color rigging, four wooden boats, two wooden storage rooms, and metal fences at the front and back of the ship. Additionally, there are two metal ornaments bearing the Cutty Sark name at the back and front left of the ship, two metal anchors, a metal statue at the front, and much more.

Materials used in the model include rosewood, mahogany, teak, and other exotic tropical wood, along with chrome and brass fittings and ornaments.

This vintage sailing ship is fully assembled.

Unfortunately...

...upon receiving the model, I found that the bowsprit was broken - it does not make sense to ship it back (can be further damaged) so I will repair it and also correct the wrong flag (should be Red Ensign instead of Union Jack since Cutty Sark was a merchant ship) but I hope to get a substantial discount that I am willing to spend on the new order of some other model...
